The ULEZ covers all London boroughs, so it affects riders across the capital.

Who pays?

Motorcycles that do not meet the Euro 3 emissions standard pay the ULEZ daily charge, which is currently £12.50. As a general guide, bikes registered after July 2007 usually meet Euro 3, but always check your specific vehicle.

How to check

Use the vehicle checker on the TfL website with your registration number.

Congestion charge

Motorcycles are exempt from the London congestion charge.

Older and classic bikes

Some older bikes may qualify for historic vehicle exemptions. Check TfL for the current rules.
