Full Service vs Interim Service: What's the Difference? — King`s Bike | Motorbike Service | Motorcycle shop

Not every visit needs a full service. Here is how the two compare.

Full service

Follows your manufacturer's schedule for that mileage. It usually includes oil and filter, air filter, spark plugs, brake inspection and fluid, chain or belt, tyres, bearings, suspension, cables, coolant, battery and lights, plus any items due at that interval such as valve clearance checks.

Interim service

A shorter service between full services, focusing on oil and filter, brakes, tyres, chain and safety checks. Ideal for commuters and delivery riders who cover high mileage.

Which do you need?

If your bike is due its scheduled service, choose a full service. If you ride a lot and are halfway to your next service, an interim service keeps the bike healthy.
