A warning light on the dashboard is your bike telling you something is wrong. Here is how to respond.

Red or amber?

Red lights such as oil pressure or high coolant temperature usually mean stop as soon as it is safe. Amber engine management lights mean a fault has been detected; the bike may run normally or in a reduced mode.

Common causes

Faulty sensors, loose connectors, fuel injection problems, misfires, exhaust sensor faults, or an issue after fitting an aftermarket exhaust or accessory.

Do not just clear the code

Clearing the light without fixing the cause means it will come back, and a small problem can become an expensive one.

Get a diagnostic check

King's Bike reads fault codes, checks live data and tests the actual components to find the real cause. Call or WhatsApp 07599 004371 or visit 203 Freemason Road, London E16 3PG.
