Breakdowns happen to every rider. What you do next matters.

Get safe first

Move yourself and the bike off the carriageway if possible, switch on hazards and stay visible. On busy roads such as the A13 or A406, stand well away from traffic.

Quick checks

Kill switch, side stand, fuel, and whether any warning lights are on. Look for obvious problems such as a snapped chain or a flat tyre.

Call for help

If the bike cannot be ridden safely, call recovery. King's Bike can arrange recovery to our workshop on Freemason Road, E16.

Repairs

One rider broke down on the A13 near Beckton, brought the bike to us and had it fixed the next day. Call or WhatsApp King's Bike on 07599 004371.
