Right to work, licence and CBT
You need the right to work in the UK, a valid driving licence and a CBT certificate to ride a 125cc scooter on L plates.
The right insurance
Delivery work needs insurance that covers food delivery, often called hire and reward cover. Standard social cover is not enough. Check what your platform requires.
The right bike
A 125cc automatic scooter such as the Yamaha NMAX or Honda PCX is economical and reliable. Rent to buy lets you pay weekly from your earnings.
Kit
